Training programme focuses on technical skills, communication, aptitude and interview preparation for final-year students

In an effort to strengthen employability and prepare students for the corporate world, Bahra University on Thursday launched a 24-day Placement Readiness Boot Camp for final-year students. Organised by the university’s Centre for Career Success, Employability and Skill Development Training Cell, the programme will run from July 2 to July 24.
The boot camp is aimed at equipping students with industry-relevant skills through intensive training in aptitude, communication, personality development, leadership, professional etiquette, technical competency, problem-solving, resume building, group discussions and mock interviews.
The programme is open to final-year students of MBA, BBA, B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering), BCA and MCA. According to the university, the initiative has been designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations by enhancing students’ technical knowledge, analytical abilities and corporate readiness.
Speaking on the occasion, Sahil Bahra, Vice Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group, said the university is committed to preparing students not only for academic success but also for professional careers. He said the institution focuses on developing confident, responsible and industry-ready graduates capable of contributing effectively from the first day of employment.
The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Vice Chancellor Prof. R.P. Nainta and Registrar Vineet Kumar, who appreciated the university’s continued emphasis on employability and skill development.
Addressing the participants, Director Students’ Welfare and Head of Trainings Anurag Avasthi said the structured boot camp combines management and technical training modules to prepare students for competitive recruitment processes. He added that the programme follows the philosophy of “Prepare • Practice • Perform • Get Placed” and is designed to improve students’ placement prospects through comprehensive professional training.
University officials said the initiative reflects Bahra University’s focus on integrating academic learning with practical exposure, enabling graduates to meet the evolving requirements of employers and build successful careers.
