The IEEE Student Branch of Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, has brought laurels to the university by securing multiple prestigious recognitions at the IEEE Delhi Section Students, Young Professionals, Women in Engineering, and Life Members Congress (DSSYWC) 2025–26, held at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Dwarka, New Delhi on June 20, 2026.
Demonstrating excellence in student leadership, volunteerism, and professional engagement, the IEEE JUIT Student Branch received several distinguished honors at the annual IEEE Delhi Section Congress.
Among the major recognitions, Anant Sharma was conferred the prestigious Dr. J. K. Pal Memorial Award, while Dr. Shruti Jain, Branch Counsellor of the IEEE JUIT Student Branch, received a Special Mention – Outstanding Branch Counsellor Award in recognition of her exemplary mentorship and dedicated leadership. The Outstanding Student Volunteer Award was presented to Harshit Goyal, Keshav Khandelwal, and Prakhar Kulshrestha for their exceptional contributions to IEEE activities and student engagement. In addition, Nandini Singh and Edaan Mehra were honored with the Outstanding WIE Student Volunteer Award for their significant contributions to Women in Engineering (WIE) initiatives.
These accolades reflect the dedication, teamwork, and innovative spirit of the IEEE JUIT Student Branch and underscore the university’s commitment to promoting technical excellence, leadership, and community service. The achievements further strengthen JUIT’s reputation as a hub for nurturing future engineering professionals and leaders. The university fraternity has extended its heartfelt congratulations to all the awardees for their remarkable accomplishments and wished them continued success in their academic, professional, and IEEE endeavors.
