Former Union Minister and Member of Parliament from Hamirpur, Anurag Singh Thakur, expressed happiness over the Bharatiya Janata Party’s sweeping victory in the municipal council and nagar panchayat elections in Himachal Pradesh, stating that the results are a clear reflection of the people’s unwavering trust in the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Anurag Singh Thakur said, “The resounding victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat elections in Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh is a victory of the people’s faith in BJP and the respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. The election results clearly show that the people of Himachal Pradesh are frustrated with the corrupt and failed policies of the Congress government and have already made up their minds for change in the coming Assembly elections.”
He further stated that the victory is the result of the hard work and dedication of every BJP worker. He congratulated Himachal BJP President Rajeev Bindal, party workers, candidates, and all voters for the party’s impressive performance in the elections.
Targeting the Congress government, Anurag Thakur said that Himachal Pradesh is currently witnessing one of the most directionless, insensitive, and ineffective governments in its seven-decade history. He alleged that the present Congress government has failed to live up to public expectations and its own promises, leading to widespread public anger across the state.
He added that the people have rejected Congress in the civic elections and once again placed their faith in the BJP. According to him, the public has also made up its mind to bring back a BJP government in Himachal Pradesh in 2027 to ensure good governance and development.
