Students of Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology brought laurels to the institution by securing a place among the top teams at the AI Nexus 2026 National Innovation Challenge held at Chandigarh University on April 20 and 21.

The team, named “Elite Engineers”, achieved an impressive 8th position among the top 38 finalist teams from across the country, showcasing innovation, technical skills and teamwork at the prestigious national-level competition.
The winning team comprised second-year B.Tech students Kamakshi Sharma from Computer Science Engineering, Adit Mahajan from CSE (AI & ML), Anshit Sharma from CSE (AI & ML), and Sahil Chauhan from CSE (AI & ML). The students were felicitated by university officials during a special ceremony held on the campus.
University authorities congratulated the young innovators for their outstanding achievement and said the success reflects the institution’s growing focus on research, innovation and emerging technologies. Faculty members also praised the students for their dedication and commitment, stating that their performance has made the university proud.
The achievement has inspired fellow students and added another milestone to the university’s academic and innovation journey.
