A one-day Capacity Building Programme on ‘Happy Classroom’ was organised under the aegis of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) at Kasauli International Public School, Sanwara, on Tuesday.
The workshop was conducted under the guidance of the school’s Managing Director Hira Thakur, Chief Executive Officer Dr Sanjeev Mainra, and Principal Poonam Thakur. The programme aimed to equip teachers with effective strategies for creating a positive, joyful and stress-free learning environment in classrooms.
CBSE resource persons Kavita Sharma and Namrita James facilitated the workshop. Through interactive activities, group discussions and practical sessions, teachers were introduced to innovative approaches that support students’ emotional, social and academic development.
The resource persons highlighted the importance of fostering positive classroom relationships, encouraging active student participation and promoting overall well-being. The sessions focused on building inclusive and engaging learning spaces that enhance both teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.
The workshop was widely appreciated by participants, who described it as informative, inspiring and highly beneficial. The school management expressed gratitude to the CBSE resource persons and all participants for contributing to the success of the programme.
