Shimla: Bringing pride to the Chopal region of Himachal Pradesh, BhumiKa Sharma has cleared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026) in her very first attempt, securing admission to the prestigious Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), Shimla.
Competing against nearly 2.3 million candidates from across the country, BhumiKa secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 6707, a remarkable achievement that reflects her hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
BhumiKa has been an outstanding student throughout her academic journey. She scored 95% in her Class 10 examinations from DAV Public School, Chopal, and completed her Class 12 education from Hillgrove Public School, Shimla.
For her NEET preparation, she received guidance from Aspire Coaching Institute, where disciplined preparation and consistent effort helped her achieve success in her first attempt.
BhumiKa belongs to a highly educated and inspiring family. Her grandfather, Layak Ram Sharma, retired as a Principal from the Education Department. Her father, Akash Deep Sharma, mother, Seema Sharma, and uncle are all teachers, providing her with a strong academic environment and unwavering encouragement from an early age.
