Shimla, July 17: Customers of the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (HPSCB) will face a temporary disruption in banking services as the bank has announced the suspension of major banking and digital banking operations from July 17 to July 22 to facilitate the migration to the Finacle Core Banking Solution (CBS) under the NABARD Umbrella Project.
According to the bank, all branch banking services, internet banking, mobile banking, UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, ATM transactions, and other digital services will remain unavailable during the migration period. Customers have been advised to complete urgent financial transactions before the maintenance window begins to avoid inconvenience.
The technology upgrade is aimed at strengthening the bank’s digital infrastructure, improving cybersecurity, enhancing transaction efficiency, and offering a more seamless banking experience to customers. Once the migration is complete, the upgraded Finacle CBS platform is expected to provide faster, more secure, and more reliable banking services.
HPSCB has appealed to account holders to plan their banking activities accordingly and expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused during the system upgrade.
