Baddi, May 13: The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at IEC University organised a grand farewell ceremony for the final-year BCA students at the university auditorium in Atal Shiksha Kunj, Kalu Jhanda.
The event was marked by emotions, celebrations and vibrant cultural performances as junior students bid an affectionate farewell to their seniors with heartfelt wishes for their future. The ceremony began with the traditional lamp-lighting by the chief guests and the Head of Department.
The auditorium came alive with music, memories and excitement as junior students presented a series of colourful performances, including Bollywood and Pahari folk dances. Emotional speeches reflecting on college life, friendship and unforgettable memories added a sentimental touch to the occasion. Juniors also dedicated poems and songs to their seniors, making the event even more memorable.
Fun-filled games and rapid-fire rounds kept the audience entertained throughout the programme. One of the major highlights of the farewell was the “Ramp Walk” and “Talent Round” organised for the selection of Mr and Miss Farewell. Final-year students showcased their confidence and talent while walking the stage in traditional and formal attire.
Kuldeep was crowned Mr Farewell, while Kirandeep was selected as Miss Farewell for their impressive performances, confidence and stage presence. Several other students were also honoured with special titles recognising their unique qualities and contributions during their academic journey.
The farewell concluded on an emotional yet cheerful note, with students cherishing memories and celebrating the bonds formed during their years at the university.
