Kasauli International Public School organised its annual investiture ceremony on Tuesday with enthusiasm, discipline and ceremonial pride, formally appointing the newly elected student council for the academic session.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by the appointment and badge presentation of class monitors, deputy monitors, dorm captains and deputy dorm captains from various classes.
Among the key appointments, Class XII student Amreek Chaudhary was named Head Boy, while Deepakshi was appointed Head Girl. In the sports wing, Viren Gulia was designated Sports Captain for boys and Tanvi Thakur for girls. Mansirat, also from Class XII, was given the responsibility of Multimedia Incharge.
After assuming office, the newly appointed council members signed official documents and pledged to uphold the values and responsibilities entrusted to them. Head Boy Amreek Chaudhary administered the oath of sincerity, discipline and dedication to fellow students.
A symbolic torch-passing ceremony emerged as the highlight of the event, representing leadership, unity and inspiration as the flame was passed from one student to another.
Addressing the gathering, Managing Director Hira Thakur, Chief Executive Officer Dr Sanjeev Mainra and Principal Poonam Thakur congratulated the newly elected student leaders. They emphasised that leadership is not merely about holding a position, but about setting examples through responsibility, integrity and commitment.
