Bilaspur: Himachal Pradesh has another reason to take pride as Prashant Gautam, who hails from Bilaspur district, has been appointed Director of the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM), a premier national institute under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

The appointment orders have been issued by the Union Ministry of Tourism. Gautam’s elevation to the key position is being seen as a proud moment for Bilaspur as well as the entire state of Himachal Pradesh.

IITTM, headquartered in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, is a leading institution dedicated to education, training, research and capacity building in tourism, travel and hospitality management. Established in 1983, the institute works towards developing skilled human resources for India’s rapidly expanding tourism sector.
