Solan/New Delhi: Rotarian Anil Chauhan of Rotary Royal Solan has been conferred with the prestigious “National Rotary Champion” honour by Rotary International President Olayinka H. Babalola, recognising his efforts to strengthen Rotary’s public outreach through digital media.
The award was presented by the Rotary International President at the “Celebrating Impact” awards ceremony held in New Delhi on August 10. Chauhan’s nomination was made on the recommendation of Zee5.
A former president of Rotary Royal Solan and a member of District 3080, Chauhan has played a key role in promoting Rotary’s service initiatives through social media. With more than 15,000 followers across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, he has used digital platforms to showcase humanitarian work and connect Rotary with a wider audience.
Through creative storytelling, reels and digital campaigns, Chauhan has helped attract new people towards Rotary while also contributing to securing CSR support and grant opportunities for various service projects.
His approach of combining modern communication tools with Rotary’s core values has helped expand the reach of service initiatives and highlight the organisation’s message of “Service Above Self.”
Members of Rotary Royal Solan and District 3080 congratulated Chauhan on the achievement, describing the honour as a significant recognition of his contribution to Rotary and its digital outreach.
