Shimla, June 9: The Himachal Pradesh government on Monday ordered the posting of eight Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) probationers of the 2025 batch and transferred six officers of the 2024 batch, assigning them key field positions across the state with immediate effect.
According to separate notifications issued by the Department of Personnel, the newly inducted 2025-batch officers have been posted largely as Assistant Commissioners (Development)-cum-Block Development Officers (BDOs), while one officer has been appointed Assistant Commissioner (Revenue)-cum-Tehsildar.
Among the 2025-batch officers, Umesh has been posted at Rajgarh in Sirmaur district, Mohit Singh at Theog in Shimla district, Jitender Chandel at Nichar in Kinnaur district, Rahul Dhiman at Una, Taniya Kashyap at Sujanpur in Hamirpur district, Ankush Kumar at Rampur in Shimla district and Rajat Chaudhary at Hamirpur. Priyanka has been appointed Assistant Commissioner (Revenue)-cum-Tehsildar, Barsar, in Hamirpur district.
In a separate order, six HPAS officers of the 2024 batch have been shifted from development assignments to revenue administration roles.
Himani has been transferred from Chhohara in Shimla district to Pragpur in Kangra district as Assistant Commissioner (Revenue)-cum-Tehsildar. Anubhav Tanwar has been moved from Chauntra to Nihri in Mandi district, while Kartikey Dogra has been shifted from Gopalpur to Swarghat in Bilaspur district.
Similarly, Karanveer Singh has been posted as Assistant Commissioner (Revenue)-cum-Tehsildar, Jubbal, Neha Negi has been transferred to Nichar at Bhaba Nagar in Kinnaur district, and Yogesh Kumar has been moved from Pangi in Chamba district to Rampur in Shimla district.
The orders, issued by Chief Secretary Kamlesh Kumar Pant, stated that the postings and transfers would take effect immediately.
The reshuffle places probationary HPAS officers in frontline administrative and development roles across districts, providing them field-level governance experience while strengthening revenue and rural development administration in several subdivisions.
