These days, drug smugglers are dominating Himachal Pradesh. Especially, the police are arresting Chitta smugglers from different places in the state every day. Despite this, the cases of Chitta smuggling are not decreasing. This problem of drugs in Himachal Pradesh is not hidden from anyone, and the people of the state are also worried about it. Chitta has taken the lives of many soldiers in Himachal. In view of this problem, an HRTC driver has come forward who is making people aware of drug smugglers every day before going on his route.
The name of the HRTC driver is Hans Raj Bhardwaj, who is a resident of Seu village of Ghumarwin. Currently, he is posted in the Himachal Path Parivahan Ghumarwin sub-depot. Hans Raj Bhardwaj daily urges the passengers sitting in the bus on his route to be cautious of drug dealers. Whenever he prepares to go on his route, he first appeals to the passengers not to take any goods from any unknown person.
In a video, Hans Raj Bhardwaj is appealing to the passengers, “These days drug smugglers are ruining the lives of many children. After the police became strict, the drug smugglers used to put the drugs in the food items and first ask the driver and conductor to take them to another place, but when their trickery was discovered, they are now asking the passengers to take the goods to another place in the same way in the food items. While giving the goods to the passengers, the drug smugglers say that if this stuff is given to the driver and conductor, they will ask for money. Due to which, people get into their talks.”
HRTC drivers have appealed to the people not to take the responsibility of taking the goods of any unknown person to another place. There have also been such cases when the police investigated and found drugs in it, and innocent people got trapped in it.
Hans Raj has appealed to the people that if the passengers suspect any unknown person, they should not ignore it and immediately inform the police. Let us tell you that Hans Raj was earlier posted at the Una Depot. Talking to ETV Bharat, Hans Raj said, “Looking at the situation in the state, I have made it a part of my daily routine to make people aware of drug smugglers as my duty. He says that it is very important to curb drug abuse. This drug will spoil our generations.” People of the entire area are praising this initiative of the HRTC driver.
