IEC University successfully concluded its month-long skill enhancement and career development programme ‘Avasar 4.0’ on Wednesday, aimed at guiding students appearing for Class 12 examinations towards future career opportunities and higher education choices.
The programme witnessed participation from students belonging to Baddi, Nalagarh, Pinjore, Kalka and nearby regions. The university also provided free transportation facilities for all participating students throughout the duration of the programme.
According to university officials, the initiative focused on helping students gain a better understanding of professional courses in engineering, pharmacy, law, management and other streams, enabling them to make informed career decisions after schooling.
As part of the programme, students were given practical exposure to AI tools, coding and advanced computer applications. Special emphasis was also laid on personality development through sessions on public speaking, reporting and interviewing skills.
To provide real-world exposure, students were taken on industrial visits where they interacted with professionals and observed corporate functioning closely.
University authorities said that ‘Avasar 4.0’ served as a platform to bridge the gap between school education and emerging career opportunities by equipping students with industry-oriented skills and practical knowledge.
The university has invited interested students to register for upcoming sessions through its official website.
