Lakshay Convent School, Manjhyat, and Lakshay B.Ed. College celebrated Independence Day with enthusiasm, patriotic fervour and a strong sense of national pride on Friday.
The celebrations were attended by School Chairman Dr Prem Lal Gupta, Principal Dr Kusum Gupta, faculty members and students. A grand march past by students and teachers was among the highlights of the event, reflecting discipline, unity and dedication.
Students also presented a series of colourful cultural and patriotic dance performances, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and celebration. The performances were appreciated by the audience and showcased the talent and confidence of the students.
Addressing the students, Principal Dr Kusum Gupta emphasised the importance of understanding the value of freedom and urged them to fulfil their responsibilities towards the nation with sincerity and dedication.
Chairman Dr Prem Lal Gupta also encouraged the students to contribute positively to nation-building and become responsible citizens.
The celebrations concluded with a strong message of patriotism, national unity, discipline and responsibility, with the campus resonating with the spirit of Independence Day.
