‘Yaadon Ka Karwaan’ themed ceremony celebrates memories, achievements and new beginnings
ARKI, July 8: An emotional farewell ceremony for the B.Ed fourth semester (2K26 batch) students was organised at Lakshay Institute of Education in Manjyat village of Devra Panchayat in Arki subdivision on Tuesday. The event, themed “Yaadon Ka Karwaan”, brought together students, faculty members and dignitaries in a celebration of memories, achievements and new beginnings.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana by Dr PL Gupta, chairman of Lakshay Institute of Education. Students presented colourful cultural performances, including dances, songs, poetry recitals and recreational activities, adding vibrancy to the farewell celebration.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Gupta congratulated the outgoing students and wished them success in their future endeavours. He said that an ideal teacher is shaped not only by knowledge but also by discipline, values and dedication, urging the graduates to contribute meaningfully to society and nation-building.
Outgoing students shared memories of their two-year academic journey and thanked the faculty members for their guidance and support. Several students turned emotional while bidding farewell to their teachers and classmates, making the occasion memorable.
Students were honoured with mementoes, followed by group photographs to mark the conclusion of the event.
On the occasion, Rahul was adjudged Mr Personality, Shilpa was crowned Miss Personality, Suraj received the Mr Farewell title, while Divyanshi was named Miss Farewell.
Among those present were Dr Kusum Gupta, Principal of Lakshay Convent School, Veena Gupta, Principal of Lakshay Public School, Arki, and Akash Gupta, Managing Director of the institution.
