The seven-day NSS camp organized by the B.Ed. Department of LR Institute of Education concluded on a high note, marked by enthusiasm and active participation from volunteers.
On the final day, a cricket tournament was held at the Solan Police Ground, which emerged as the main attraction of the event. In the girls’ category, the team led by first-year NSS volunteer Anjali clinched the winner’s title. Meanwhile, in the junior boys’ category, the first-year team secured a thrilling victory in a match that went down to a super over.
The closing ceremony also featured a community feast (bhandara) and refreshments, with all volunteers participating wholeheartedly.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Nisha Sharma highlighted the importance of such camps, stating that they play a vital role in enhancing students’ personality development, discipline, and team spirit.
The NSS camp concluded successfully, leaving participants with valuable experiences and lasting lessons.
