Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh on Wednesday said that the mobile phone of his mother and former Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Pratibha Singh has been hacked, urging the public to remain vigilant against any fraudulent communication originating from her number.
In a social media post, Vikramaditya Singh appealed to people not to trust any calls or messages seeking money if they are received from Pratibha Singh’s mobile number. He advised the public not to make any payments in response to such requests.
The minister said the matter has been reported to the Cyber Cell and other concerned authorities, and necessary action has been initiated to investigate the incident.
He also urged people to ignore and report any suspicious calls or messages received from the compromised number until the issue is resolved.
