He noted that the country is also celebrating the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, describing it as a symbol of patriotism, national unity and cultural consciousness.
He outlined four key priorities for Rampur HPS — Safety, Technology & Innovation, Manpower & People Development, and Community & Environment. Emphasising the goal of Zero Accident and Zero Harm, he said safety must remain the responsibility of every individual.
Marwah also stressed the need to make Rampur HPS more technology- and data-driven through Artificial Intelligence, predictive maintenance, automation and cybersecurity. He highlighted continuous learning, skill development and leadership opportunities for young talent, while calling for environmentally responsible and socially inclusive development in the Himalayan region.
As part of its CSR initiatives under the SJVN Foundation, Rampur HPS has provided a Fully Auto Bio Chemistry Analyzer to the Ayurvedic Hospital, Rampur Bushahr. The facility is expected to provide faster and quality diagnostic services free of cost to thousands of people in the region.
The Project Head thanked employees, contractual workers, CISF and HimPESCO personnel, as well as the local community, for their cooperation and extended Independence Day greetings to all.
A Vande Mataram competition was also organised as part of the celebrations.
