ADM Jyoti Rana Appointed Administrator
Shimla, June 18: The management of Saraswati Paradise International School, Sanjauli, has been placed under government control to ensure the smooth functioning of the institution and safeguard the academic interests of students.
Deputy Commissioner Shimla and Co-Additional Registrar of Societies, Anupam Kashyap (IAS), has appointed Additional District Magistrate (Protocol) Jyoti Rana as the Administrator of the school. The appointment has been made under the provisions of the Himachal Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2006 and will initially remain in effect for a period of six months.
The decision has been taken to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the school, protect the educational interests of students, and maintain an effective administrative framework. The school is being run under the Himachal Public School Educational Society, Sanjauli.
According to the order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, academic activities, discipline, administrative functions, and student welfare must not be adversely affected under any circumstances. As Administrator, Jyoti Rana will oversee the day-to-day functioning of both the school and the society. She has also been tasked with facilitating the formation of a new governing body in accordance with the society’s bylaws and prevailing legal provisions.
The administration has emphasized that safeguarding the academic future of students, protecting the interests of teachers and staff, and ensuring the institution’s normal functioning will remain its top priority. The teaching and learning process will continue without interruption during the administrative transition.
To assist the Administrator, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Rural), Shimla, Deputy Director of Elementary Education, Shimla, Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Shimla, Assistant Controller (Finance & Accounts), Deputy Commissioner’s Office, and Tehsildar, Shimla (Rural) have been directed to provide necessary support whenever required.
The administration has assured parents, students, and staff that the school will continue to function smoothly and that all necessary measures will be taken to maintain stability and educational standards.
