Shimla, April 19: The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee has announced the new executive body of the District Congress Committee Shimla (Urban). The notification was issued with the approval of the state leadership, appointing Inderjeet Singh as the President of the Shimla (Urban) unit.
The newly constituted executive includes a mix of senior and युवा leaders, with appointments made for vice presidents, general secretaries, secretaries, and executive members. The move is aimed at strengthening the party’s organizational structure at the grassroots level.
In addition, an advisory committee and a social media department have also been formed to enhance coordination and modernize the party’s outreach.
The notification, issued by HPCC General Secretary (Organisation) Vinod Zinta, states that all appointments will take immediate effect.
Congratulating the newly appointed office bearers, party leaders expressed confidence that the team will work with dedication and integrity to strengthen the organization and address public concerns effectively.
The leadership believes that the blend of experience and youthful energy in the new team will give a fresh direction to the party in Shimla (Urban) and help it achieve greater success in the coming time.
