Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Savitri Thakur today visited the 7th ‘The Haat of Art’ art exhibition organised at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
Savitri Thakur wrote in one of her ‘X’ posts , ” Today I visited the 7th ‘Haat of Art’ art exhibition held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. I felt proud to see the wonderful creations of women artists, especially women artists, in this grand exhibition of more than 300 artists and more than 5000 art works. The exhibition also showcased traditional Pithora and Gond paintings of tribal communities of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, which are a beautiful reflection of our rich cultural heritage. Through such events, we get an opportunity to promote our traditional arts more, like Bagh prints of my Lok Sabha constituency Dhar, handmade saris of Maheshwar and batik prints of Ujjain. On this occasion, famous film actor Mr. Bindu Dara Singh, Additional DCP of Indore Mrs. Seema Alawa and founder director of the exhibition Jyoti Yadav were also present. “
