Delay in this can further increase the loss of life and property, therefore it is very important to have information about rescue and respond quickly during a disaster.
He urged the volunteers who received training to ensure that the information given in the workshop is disseminated to the general public so that the damage caused by disaster can be minimized. He said that it is necessary to ensure that emergency numbers are publicized in all the Gram Panchayats so that in case of disaster, proper help can be provided to the affected people.
