Solan, August 31: Traffic on the Kalka-Shimla National Highway-5 was disrupted on Monday morning after a 16-tyre truck loaded with timber overturned near the Shamlech tunnel.
According to preliminary information, the truck was carrying timber from Gujarat towards Solan when the driver reportedly lost control near Shamlech. The vehicle overturned on the highway, affecting traffic movement and resulting in a jam in the area.
The incident caused inconvenience to commuters travelling on the busy highway. Following information about the accident, a police team reached the spot and initiated an investigation.
