Solan, July 11: Laughter, nostalgia and emotional reunions marked the Old Students Reunion 2025 at LR Institute of Management on Saturday as alumni from the 2006 to 2025 batches returned to their alma mater, with many revisiting the campus after nearly two decades.
The event, organised under the guidance of LR Group of Institutes Managing Director Shachi Singh and led by Dr Shweta Sandhu, Head of the LR Institute of Management, brought together former students, faculty members and college management, creating an atmosphere of warmth and celebration across the campus.
Welcoming the alumni, Shachi Singh lauded their achievements across diverse professional fields and said the institution takes pride in their accomplishments. She encouraged them to remain connected with their alma mater and continue mentoring future generations of students.
Dr Shweta Sandhu expressed delight at seeing former students return to the campus after several years. She said the success of alumni reflects the institution’s commitment to quality education and urged them to stay engaged with the college by sharing their experiences and guiding current students.
The reunion saw alumni revisit classrooms, the canteen and other familiar corners of the campus while reminiscing about student life, cultural events and friendships. Several emotional moments unfolded as classmates reunited after years, with many expressing gratitude for the education, support and opportunities they received at the institute.
The event concluded with a group photograph, informal interactions and a vote of thanks, leaving alumni and faculty with cherished memories and renewed ties to the institution.
