The Himachal Pradesh government has ordered the transfer and posting of six Himachal Pradesh Police Service (HPPS) officers with immediate effect. The reshuffle includes officers posted in Bilaspur, Sirmaur, Kangra, Kullu, Manali, Shimla and Una.
According to a notification issued by the state government, Shiv Ram Chaudhary, Additional SP, Bilaspur, has been posted as Additional SP, Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), Kullu, while Additional SP Sirmaur Yogesh Rolta has been appointed Commandant, Home Guards, Solan. Manoj Kumar-II, SDPO Kangra, has been transferred as Deputy SP, 2nd Indian Reserve Battalion, Sakoh, and Rohit Mrigpuri has been posted as Deputy SP (Headquarters), Kullu.
Kshma Dutt, SDPO Manali, has been transferred as Deputy SP (Headquarters), Keylong, Lahaul and Spiti. Meanwhile, Binny Minhas, Deputy SP (Leave Reserve), Police Headquarters, Shimla, has been deployed as Deputy SP, Deputy Chief Minister’s Security and will additionally hold charge of the Deputy SP, SDRF Centre at Palakwah in Una.
The transfers were ordered with immediate effect in the public interest, in partial modification of an earlier notification dated August 10, 2026. The order was issued by the Himachal Pradesh government through Chief Secretary Kamlesh Kumar Pant.
