LR Institutes of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Red Cross Society, organised a blood donation camp on May 8, 2026, with the aim of ensuring blood availability for the needy and promoting social responsibility among students.
Assistant Commissioner Neerja attended the event as the chief guest and encouraged the blood donors, describing such initiatives as highly beneficial for society.
On the occasion, Managing Director Shachi Singh motivated students to actively participate in social service activities and said that blood donation is a noble act that can help save precious lives. Academic Director Dr. P.P. Sharma and Principal of the Pharmacy Department Dr. Avneet Gupta also appreciated the initiative and praised the enthusiasm shown by the students.
Students, faculty members, and staff participated enthusiastically in the camp, with a large number of donors contributing blood. The organisers described the event as a successful step towards strengthening social welfare efforts.
The institute management expressed gratitude to all blood donors and supporters and reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such social initiatives in the future.
