Shimla, June 16: The Education Department has put the appointment process of selected CBSE English Teacher candidates on hold after an interim order issued by the Himachal Pradesh High Court on June 15, 2026.
In view of the court’s directions, the appointment orders issued on June 15, 2026, have been withdrawn with immediate effect. Officials said no further action regarding the recruitment process will be taken until fresh directions are received from the High Court or the competent authority.
The department has instructed all concerned authorities to comply with the court’s order and await further instructions before proceeding with any appointments.
Further developments in the matter will depend on the next hearing and subsequent orders of the court.
