5804 voters in Sujanpur and 1162 voters in Bhota will exercise their franchise.
Hamirpur, May 15. Election campaigning ended at 3 pm on Friday in the Sujanpur Municipal Council and Bhota Municipal Council.
Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Gandharva Rathod said that now there will be a complete ban on any kind of election public meeting, procession, cultural program, TV-cinema show and public meetings etc. in these two urban body areas till 3 pm on May 17.
He said that voting will be held in these two urban body areas on May 17 from 7 am to 3 pm and counting of votes will start immediately after that.
The District Election Officer stated that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure that the voting and counting process is conducted in a free, fair, and peaceful manner. He stated that a total of 5,804 voters will exercise their franchise in the nine wards of the Sujanpur Municipal Council. Meanwhile, 1,162 voters will exercise their franchise in the seven wards of Bhota Municipal Council. The District Election Officer appealed to all voters to participate in the voting and cooperate in ensuring that the process is conducted in a free, fair, and peaceful manner.
