The Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission (HPRCA) has declared the final result for the recruitment of Music Teachers in the School Education Department. A total of 46 candidates have been selected, while 72 of the 118 advertised posts remained vacant due to the non-availability of eligible candidates.
The recruitment process was conducted under Post Code-26021 for the appointment of Music Teachers on a fixed honorarium basis. According to HPRCA Secretary Dr. Vikram Mahajan, 71 candidates had applied for the posts, out of whom 63 appeared in the computer-based examination. Subsequently, 58 candidates were shortlisted for document verification.
After the scrutiny of documents on August 18, the Commission selected 46 candidates for the available positions.
The 72 vacant posts include 26 in the General category, 11 in General EWS, one under General (Family of Freedom Fighters), 15 in OBC, four in OBC BPL, eight in SC, three in SC BPL, one under SC (Family of Freedom Fighters), and three in the ST category.
The final result, including the names, roll numbers and scores of all selected candidates, has been uploaded on the official website of the Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission.
