Hamirpur, August 1: The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU), Hamirpur, on Saturday allotted 896 B.Tech (Direct Entry) seats in the fifth round of online counselling conducted on the basis of Class 12 merit.
Candidates who have been allotted seats have been asked to report to their respective institutions and complete the admission formalities by 5 p.m. on August 4, failing which their allotted seats may be cancelled as per the counselling rules.
HPTU Registrar Anupam Kumar Thakur said the second round of counselling for B.Arch and M.Tech programmes (all branches) was also conducted at the respective affiliated institutions.
The university is carrying out the admission process in phases to fill vacant seats across engineering and architecture programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates have been advised to adhere to the prescribed schedule and complete the admission process within the stipulated deadline.
