Hamirpur: Himachal Pradesh Technical University has announced revised dates for semester and re-appear examinations for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including BTech, B Pharmacy, MBA, MCA, MTech and M Pharmacy.
The university said examinations will now begin from June 4 instead of May 29 due to the upcoming Panchayati Raj Institution elections in the state. Exams will be conducted in morning and evening sessions from June 4 to July 4 across affiliated institutions.
Registrar and Controller of Examinations (additional charge) Chirag Sharma said examination centres have been set up in 39 institutions across Himachal Pradesh and all arrangements are being finalised.
He added that affiliated colleges and examination centres have already been informed about the necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of examinations, which are expected to continue till the first week of July.
