Shimla, August 1
The Monsoon Session of the 14th Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly will commence on August 21, 2026, following a formal notification issued by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla under Article 174(1) of the Constitution of India.

According to the notification, the Assembly will convene at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, at the Vidhan Sabha complex in Shimla.
The order, approved by the Governor on July 30, 2026, was officially notified on August 1. It summons all members of the Legislative Assembly to attend the session.
The Monsoon Session is expected to witness discussions on key legislative and administrative matters, with the ruling government likely to introduce important business while the Opposition is expected to raise issues concerning governance and public interest.
The notification has been issued by the Secretariat of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly and circulated to all concerned constitutional authorities and government departments.
