In a minor administrative reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh government has assigned additional responsibilities to nine Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) officers with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel (Appointment-IV), the officers will hold charge of additional posts alongside their existing assignments in the public interest.
Among the key appointments, SDM Chopal Hem Chand Verma will also serve as SDM Kupvi, while SDM Hamirpur Sanjeet Singh has been given the additional charge of Assistant Commissioner to the Deputy Commissioner, Hamirpur. SDM Shimla (Rural) Manjeet Sharma will additionally function as Assistant Commissioner to the Deputy Commissioner, Shimla, and Regional Transport Officer Hamirpur Rajiv Thakur has been entrusted with the additional charge of Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Hamirpur.
SDM-cum-Project Director, DRDA Keylong, Kunika Akers will also serve as SDM Udaipur and Assistant Commissioner to the Deputy Commissioner, Lahaul and Spiti. Similarly, SDM Bilaspur Raj Kumar-II has been assigned the additional responsibilities of Assistant Commissioner to the Deputy Commissioner, Bilaspur, besides Land Acquisition Officer, SLAU, NHAI Headquarters, Bilaspur.
Meanwhile, SDM Jubbal Gurmit Gyalchen Negi will additionally hold charge as SDM Kotkhai, SDM Shillai Jas Pal has been given the additional charge of SDM Kafota, while Assistant Settlement Officer Solan Narender Kumar-II will also look after the post of Assistant Settlement Officer, Arki.
The notification said the additional assignments have been made in the public interest and will take effect immediately.
