Solan, July 9: In a move aimed at strengthening technology-driven education and innovation, IEC University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Technoledge Eduresearch Pvt. Ltd. to collaborate on research, training and skill development in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Advanced Robotics.
As part of the collaboration, the university will establish a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence on its campus, equipped with advanced technologies to provide students with hands-on training in robotics design, machine learning, automation and AI programming.
Officials from both organisations said the partnership has been designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by preparing students with skills aligned to emerging technological demands. Alongside classroom learning, students will gain exposure to live industry projects and globally benchmarked curricula.
The collaboration will also leverage Technoledge Eduresearch’s corporate network to facilitate internship and placement opportunities for students. Faculty members of IEC University will receive specialised training in advanced robotics and AI tools to strengthen teaching and research capabilities.
The university said the initiative is expected to enhance students’ career prospects while fostering innovation, research and startup development in the rapidly evolving fields of artificial intelligence and advanced robotics.
