The temple trust has changed the Sugam Darshan system started for special darshan for the devotees coming to visit the famous Shaktipeeth Maa Chintapurni of North India. Now devotees will have to pay Rs 300 per devotee for VIP Darshan.
Earlier, under the Sugam Darshan system started by the temple trust, VIP devotees had to get a slip of Rs 1100, in which a maximum of 5 devotees could have Sugam Darshan of Mata Chintapurni. Under this system, even if a single person had to have VIP Darshan, he had to get a slip of Rs 1100.
Apart from this, in the second category, elderly people above 65 years of age and disabled people will have to pay Rs 100 with an attendant, which was Rs 50 earlier.
During the more crowded days in the temple premises, devotees will have to get a slip of Rs 500 for Sugam Darshan.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar said, “Earlier, the temple trust used to charge Rs 1100 under the Sugam Darshan system, but after the feedback from the devotees, it has been changed, and now a fee of Rs 300 per devotee has been fixed.
Only 500 passes will be made in a day, and VIP darshan will be allowed so that the queue system is not affected. The temple trust has made arrangements for the VIP devotees to sit in the waiting hall built in Baba Shri Mai Das Sadan. From there, they will be taken to the temple lift through an electric golf cart, and darshan will be provided from there through the lift.”
