Actor and filmmaker Aryan Harnot has been honoured with the prestigious BIG Impact Award 2026 for his outstanding contribution to acting and film direction. The award was presented by Kavinder Gupta during a grand ceremony held at Radisson Hotel Shimla on Sunday.
The award, instituted by [BIG FM](https://www.bigfmindia.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com), recognises individuals who have made remarkable contributions in their respective fields. Senior officials of the radio network, including its executive leadership, along with prominent citizens of the city, attended the event.
A resident of Shimla, Aryan Harnot has carved a niche for himself in the entertainment industry through his versatile performances in popular television serials such as Diya Aur Baati Hum, Phulwa, Kaamna, Tum Dena Saath Mera, Parvarrish, Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain and Sajan Ghar. Besides acting, he is also recognised for his work as a writer.
As a director, Harnot has earned acclaim at national and international platforms for his short films Keel and Ram Bharose, both of which have received appreciation from critics and accolades at several prestigious film festivals.
Speaking after receiving the honour, Aryan Harnot said, “This award belongs to my state and to everyone who believed in my journey. Coming from the soil of Himachal and presenting my stories before the nation is a matter of immense pride for me.”
