Rampur, July 17: In a major boost to healthcare services in the region, SJVN Foundation has inaugurated a Fully Auto Bio Chemistry Analyzer at the Ayurvedic Hospital in Rampur Bushahr under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The machine was formally inaugurated by Vikas Marwah, Project Head, Rampur Hydro Power Station (RHPS), Bayal.
The advanced diagnostic equipment is expected to significantly improve the quality and speed of medical testing for thousands of patients. The Ayurvedic Hospital caters to around 40,000–42,000 outpatients (OPD) and nearly 1,000 inpatients (IPD) every year, offering free diagnostic services. The new analyzer will benefit residents of Rampur, Kumarsain, Nankhari (Shimla), Nichar (Kinnaur), and Nirmand and Ani (Kullu) by providing faster and more accurate test results.
Addressing the gathering, Vikas Marwah said SJVN remains committed to community welfare and inclusive development. He noted that the installation of the modern machine will enhance healthcare facilities, particularly for economically weaker patients who require free diagnostic services, while further strengthening medical infrastructure in the region.
Senior officials, including Sanjeev Sharma, Deputy General Manager (Electrical), Kaushalya Devi Negi, Deputy General Manager (R&R/CSR), Dr. Rohini Sharma, Deputy Divisional Ayurvedic Medical Officer, along with officials from the Ayurvedic Department and Rampur HPS, were present on the occasion.
