Shimla, May 8
Auckland House School Middle Section celebrated its Sports Day with great enthusiasm, energy and participation, showcasing the spirit of fitness, discipline and teamwork among students.
The event was graced by Dr. Ruchi Ramesh, Principal, Government Degree College, Darlaghat, Solan, who attended the programme as the Chief Guest.
The day featured a vibrant series of performances and competitions including March Past, Fitness Drill with Claps, Dumbbell Drill Display, Yoga, Gymnastics, Karate and Skating displays by students of different forms and groups. The audience also enjoyed exciting events such as Obstacle Race, Baton Relay, Skipping Race, Sack Race and Skipping Relay, along with special guest races for ladies and gentlemen.

The programme reflected the confidence, coordination and sportsmanship of the students, who participated wholeheartedly in every activity.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Dr. Ruchi Ramesh appreciated the school for organising such a well-coordinated and lively event. She praised the students for their enthusiasm, discipline and impressive performances, and said that sports play a vital role in building confidence, leadership qualities and a healthy competitive spirit among children.
The event concluded with a Prize Distribution Ceremony, where winners and participants were applauded for their dedication and spirited participation.
