Cadets of the 7 HP (I) Company NCC Unit, Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, enthusiastically participated in the celebrations of International Yoga Day 2026, reaffirming their commitment to physical fitness, mental well-being, discipline, and holistic development.
The program was organized under the leadership of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena and under the guidance and direction of Col. Akash Singha. The celebration highlighted the importance of yoga as an integral component of a healthy and balanced lifestyle and reflected the University’s commitment to promoting the overall well-being of its students.
The NCC cadets actively participated in a series of yoga asanas, breathing exercises, and mindfulness practices aimed at enhancing physical endurance, mental resilience, concentration, and emotional balance. The activities emphasized the transformative role of yoga in cultivating self-discipline, inner harmony, and a sense of responsibility among young individuals.
The event concluded with the cadets taking a collective pledge to incorporate yoga into their daily routine and to actively promote its benefits within society.
