New Delhi, June 21
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reportedly delayed his departure from Delhi Airport by around 45 minutes on Sunday to ensure that NEET-UG re-examination candidates did not face any inconvenience while travelling to their examination centres.
According to sources, PM Modi arrived at Delhi Airport at around 1:15 pm but chose to remain at the airport instead of proceeding immediately to his residence. The decision was taken to avoid traffic restrictions and congestion that could have affected students heading to their examination centres.
The NEET-UG re-examination was scheduled to begin at 2 pm, and the Prime Minister’s move was aimed at ensuring smooth traffic flow and hassle-free travel for aspirants appearing for the crucial medical entrance examination.
The gesture has drawn appreciation on social media, with many praising the Prime Minister for prioritising students’ convenience during an important national examination.
