On the eve of the birth anniversary of former Himachal Pradesh Minister Late Shri G.S. Bali Ji, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) MD Rajiv Kumar donated blood as a tribute to the veteran leader’s legacy of public service and compassion.
Rajiv Kumar said the gesture was aimed at honouring Bali Ji’s lifelong commitment to serving society while encouraging staff members, colleagues and the wider community to embrace voluntary blood donation. He emphasised that every unit of donated blood has the potential to save lives and offer hope to families during critical medical emergencies.
He stated that the most meaningful tribute to leaders who dedicated their lives to public welfare is to carry forward their spirit of selfless service through positive action. Appealing to all medically eligible citizens, he urged people to donate blood regularly and become partners in saving lives.
“Every drop counts, every donation is a gift of life. Donate Blood. Save Lives. Serve Humanity,” Rajiv Kumar said.
