Three people sustained minor injuries after a milk tanker veered off the Chandigarh–Shimla National Highway (NH-5) and overturned into a residential area near Bruri in Solan on Monday morning.
According to officials, the tanker lost control before plunging off the road and landing near residential houses. All three occupants suffered minor injuries and were reported to be safe. Fortunately, no major loss of life or property was reported despite the vehicle overturning close to homes.
Police reached the spot soon after receiving information and launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident. Traffic on the highway was managed while rescue and recovery operations were carried out.
