The Barog–Kasauli–Paonta Complex of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) organised a voluntary blood donation camp at Hotel Pinewood, Barog, on the eve of the birth anniversary of former Himachal Pradesh minister and former HPTDC Chairman, Late G.S. Bali.
The initiative was held to honour Bali’s legacy of public service, compassion and commitment to social welfare. HPTDC said the camp reflects its continued focus on social responsibility under the guidance of Chairman Raghubir Singh Bali and the leadership of Managing Director Dr. Rajiv Kumar, IAS.
The camp was organised under the supervision of Dr. Anil Kapoor, Deputy General Manager of the Barog–Kasauli–Paonta Complex. Mahendra Singh Chauhan, Manager, HPTDC Kasauli, Puran Chandel, Junior Engineer, along with officers and employees from the Barog and Kasauli units, actively participated in the event by voluntarily donating blood.
HPTDC also acknowledged the support of Rotary Royal Solan in successfully conducting the camp and thanked all voluntary blood donors, doctors, medical staff, volunteers and employees who contributed to the initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, participants said the best tribute to Late G.S. Bali is to carry forward his mission of serving society. They noted that every unit of donated blood has the potential to save lives and reinforces the values of humanity, compassion and selfless service.
HPTDC appealed to people across the state to actively participate in voluntary blood donation drives and contribute to saving lives through this noble cause.
